On the regular most bloggers shy away from mash ups … so why the hell do they still pop up from time to time ?!! ….easy, cause there might be a small change a mash up could turn out great. In this case Wick – It The Instigator did a “sick” job. Fusing The Black Keys “Brothers” with Big Boi’s “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” could not have been an easy task as both genres seem to be from different planets. But since both albums where previously mentioned on the Strangefruitmusicblog y’all know some coolness was involved.

Anyways my favorite mashed up track is “Black Bug” simply because it ingeniously morphes two of my favorites “Tighten Up” and “Shutterbug” into something you’d still nod your head to. To download click here.
