Can Madlib do anything wrong? Even if some of his past releases have fallen short of the critical press (i.e. about a third of his Medicine Shows....), he has never lost that unique sound. I was just recently talking to a friend about what makes a producer so vital to anything that dares to call itself "bold" - Madlib doesn't even have to call his sound anything special... it just is. We figured out, while listening to Strong Arm Steady's "Search for Stoney Jackson" album, that what it takes is to maintain a constant, refreshingly original signature and be able to blend it with just about anything. Madlib does just that, every damn time.

This release looks to be a great work of two incredible musicians. I can't wait for late March all of a sudden!
