It’s obvious the summer season is starting in the Netherlands. Because the programming to some of the biggest Dutch Summer Festivals with very international appeal are available on the net.

This year there is atleast two of the many festivals I will be focusing and reporting on. The Hague Jazz which will take place on the 11th and 12th of June 2010 and shortly after that it is time for North Sea Jazz which will take place from the 9th to 11th of July 2010.

Even though this will be my 2nd edition of The Hague Jazz and my 12th edition of North Sea Jazz it will definitely be the first time I will record as much of Noggy’s musical experience as possible and afcourse share only the best on the strangefruitmusicblog.

Unlike most I do tend go for artists that are ussualy unknown or on the verge of a breakthrough because I already saw many of the big names (some of them when they were on the verge of a breakthrough). Just so you know that you can expect the unexpected.

Afcourse the better option is to visit these events for yourself!!

Very good question… I didn’t have a lot of time to browse through the programmes in detail yet, but when it comes to the hague jazz..Meshell Ndegeocello, Jazzanova Live, Giovanca and Gare du Nord.

North Sea Jazz is a bit harder because there are a lot of big and small names I really want to see…but the one small name I am surely gonna pay attention to is ROX…I posted a few things about her on the blog and you can find the links below. I personally think she will be a very big name after her CD drops…

I am planning to blog about all of the artists I think are interesting and promise to keep you posted
