A few years ago i bought the repress of the Arthur Verocai album and I was amazed by it. So I am happy that the Timeless concert series brought Arthur again in the spotlight. This mix by Dj Nuts who dj-ed at the Verocai show is right on point.
DJ Nuts is an collector of Brazilian music with a record collection that is legendary; his skills as a DJ are more then world class. Years of collecting and a strong friendship with Verocai himself have made this historic mix possible. 78 minutes of all Verocai compositions and arrangements is a dream come true.

Here an really amazing mix from Producer/DJ Quantic, the man behind the Quantic Soul Orchestra. This mix features records that where bought during his 2004 trip to Addis Adaba. The result from this travel was that Mulate Astatke did a legendary session at the Timeless LA event. Click HERE for this great session.
