On the regular most bloggers shy away from mash ups … so why the hell do they still pop up from time to time ?!! ….easy, cause there might be a small change a mash up could turn out great. In this case Wick – It The Instigator did a “sick” job. Fusing The Black Keys “Brothers” with Big Boi’s “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” could not have been an easy task as both genres seem to be from different planets. But since both albums where previously mentioned on the Strangefruitmusicblog y’all know some coolness was involved.
Anyways my favorite mashed up track is “Black Bug” simply because it ingeniously morphes two of my favorites “Tighten Up” and “Shutterbug” into something you’d still nod your head to. To download click here.

Although this is probably no news to Outkast fans strangefruitmusicblog is going to tell you anyway just to make sure you in the know!! Antwan André Patton a.k.a Big Boi is currently working on a solo album by the name of Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty and the album is aimed to be finished in August.
The abovementioned is afcourse just an interlude to the real update. Last night, Def Jam put out “Shutterbugg,” which is to be the first official single from Big Boi’s upcoming album. I personally think this sounds kinda hot…Enjoy!!
