After seeing this video I decided that Mrs Badu is one of the coolest chicks on tha Planet. This is not the official music video but we now have proof that Mrs Badu looks fly on every occasion. Erykah serenades a studio audience (including a jetlagged Jay Electronica and Supanova) with a rendition of, “Fall in Love (Your Funeral),” off New Amerykah Part Two … enjoy.

As I was trying to find a way to embed the Erykah Badu live performance at The Fix available on Vtech and was getting frustrated because for some reason those embed codes never really work…I found something just as good.
Yep… Erykah Badu is joined by Rick Ross for the remix of “Window Seat” and “Turn Me Away (Get MuNNY).” The video is directed by Control Freaq x Creative Control and produced by Triggerhappy NYC.
Okay I found another Erykah Badu “leak “on the net. But I was kinda reluctant to post it(even if it is for stream only) because I don’t know if it’s Erykah Badu approved. But the thing is the track is kinda dope and it just seems so unfair to be in the know and not to share knowledge that sounds this cool.
So if in a few days you will not be able to stream this anymore I apologize in advance. Erykah Badu releases “Window Seat,” the first single from her fifth studio album New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh, due March 30.
The song was produced by Badu and James Poyser and features ?uestlove of The Roots on drums… and lets just say this one sounds like a BADU ORIGINAL. It will be available for purchase on Itunes on the 16th of February but afcourse you get to listen to it here first

Erykah Badu – Window Seat
In February 2008 Mrs Erykah Badu released New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) and on 23th of February 2010 we will be able to enjoy her sixth studio album New Amerykah part two ( Return of the Ankh). This release date is the latest of many because this album was due at the end of 2008 but because of her pregnancy the release had to be postponed. Since the CD has an impressive tracklist and an even more impressive list of producers…my countdown till release day has officially begun!!
