There were rumors about it on the Okayplayer messageboard but now It’s official The Roots will produce John Legends upcoming LP “The Wake Up Sessions”. There is no tracklist yet but I promise to keep you updated on the details. The Wake Up Sessions is scheduled to drop later this year and to get you as excited as I am…I’m going to share Questlove’s Twitter message from Thursday 11th february(European time)… great day (sans rats). mixed the 1st song on @johnlegend’s Wake Up album. barnone his funkiest song & dare i say the funkiest ish in 10yrs.
